Recently, at the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant pre-wedding gala, the three Khans of Bollywood, Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir, set the internet by fire after they shook a leg together on the stage. Now, Aamir Khan has hinted at working with Shah Rukh and Salman. On his birthday, he held a live session on his Instagram handle Aami Khan Productions and indicated that Andaz Apna Apna 2 is in the making.
The original starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, and Karisma Kapoor and was a comical hit. During the live, he said, “Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi is working on the script of Andaz Apna Apna 2." “I’m glad he started thinking about it because I think it will be a great film for all of us to do and for audiences to watch," he added and said that it is too early for fans to get too excited about it.
He also talked about working on a film with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan." "Even I think we should a film together. When we were together, Shah Rukh, Salman and I were also contemplating that we must do a film together in our careers. We must try that we do a film together for us and for our audiences. So, we had this thought, now let’s see what happens. I hope if a good script is offered, we will definitely do it. I think all three of us are very keen to work with each other."
Aamir Khan's last film Laal Singh Chaddha, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, did not do well at the box office. He will next be seen in Lahore 1947, a Rajkumar Santoshi film, alongside Sunny Deol.
Khan's daughter Ira Khan took to Instagram to wish her father a happy birthday. “Happy Birthday? I was thinking about how you keep messing up my hair… and then I remembered that you’ve been doing that since I was 5!!! With all the boy cuts? Love you lots, soon-to-be old man,” she wrote.
