Actress Amala Paul's boyfriend Jagat Desai made her 32nd birthday extra special by proposing to her. In a video that is now going viral Jagat joins a group of dancers before he goes down on one knee.
The two then share a kiss as the actress says 'yes'. Sharing the video on social media, Jagat wrote: “My gypsy queen said yes.” The video was reportedly shot at a resort in Goa where they are vacationing.
Fans flooded the comment section with messages of love as they wished the duo the best. According to a report in Indian Express, Jagat, who hails from Goa, works as a manager in a luxury villa in the state. Amala and Jagat, who recently made their relationship Instagram-official, have been dating for a while.
Amala was previously married to Tamil director A.L. Vijay. The couple parted ways in 2017.
In 2020, she was back in the news after Mumbai-based singer Bhavninder Singh, whom she was reportedly dating, shared their pictures and claimed they had tied the knot. Amala denied the reports and moved court to stop Bhavninder from publishing the photographs that were clicked during a shoot. She also filed a defamation suit against Singh for sharing the photographs with misleading captions.
On the workfront, Amala was last seen in Tamil film Cadaver. Amala, who has acted in several languages including Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu, won the Tamil Nadu state film award for best actress for playing the title role in Mynaa (2010).
