American singer and rapper Chris Brown has been accused by a woman of drugging and raping her on a yacht in December 2020. She is suing him for $20 million.

The incident allegedly took place on a yacht belonging to rapper Diddy in Miami, Florida.

According to the lawsuit, Brown invited the woman to the yacht, offered her a drink that made her feel “disoriented (and) physically unstable” before leading her into a bedroom.

The woman is described as a choreographer, dancer, model and musical artist.

Brown seems to have responded to the allegation with an Instagram story, in which he says he is being sued as he is about to release new music.

"I HOPE YALL SEE THIS PATTERN... Whenever im releasing music or projects 'THEY' try to pull some real bullshit," he wrote.

According to BBC, Brown reportedly contacted the woman the following day, telling her to take an emergency contraceptive.

News agencies have tried contacting both sides, but they are yet to comment to the media.

In 2009, Brown was convicted of beating his former girlfriend Rihanna, who is said to have missed the Grammy Awards that year because of injuries from the assault.
