Akshay Kumar has joined The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry’s (FICCI) latest campaign ‘Corona Ko Harana Hai’. As part of the awareness campaign, the actor posted a video in which he listed out five ways to safegard one's self from the coronavirus. Sharing the video, he wrote, "Sharing some important tips on COVID appropriate behaviour which are a must even after vaccination in order to fight this pandemic. Please watch and take note (sic)."
In the video, Kumar is accompanied by two kids who are names ‘Saiyyam’ and ‘Savdhani’. They brief the viewers on do's and don'ts during the pandemic. FICCI has also roped in actors Arya, Chiranjeevi and Punit Rajkumar to spread awareness in regional languages.
Akshay concluded the video by saying that we have to defeat the coronavirus. The actor had recently tested positive for the virus. He was admitted to a hospital and discharged after her tested negative.
Akshay and his wife Twinkle Khanna have been actively contributing to the fight against COVID-19. Recently, their fundraiser campaign Help India Breathe had reached its goal after collecting Rs 1 crore. They also donated 100 oxygen concentrators amid the second wave of COVID-19.
