Naga Chaitanya to make Bollywood debut with Amir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha'?

The makers will be filming his scenes soon

Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya is set to make his Bollywood debt and the shooting is to begin shortly.

According a report by The New Indian Express, the Majili star will make his Bollywood debut with the Amir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, which is a remake of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks.

“The team has recently completed a location recce in Kargil and a 45-day schedule is being planned over there. The makers will be filming crucial war and action sequences on Aamir and Chaitanya in this schedule that is expected to commence shortly,” The New Indian Express quoted a source close to Chaitanya as saying.

Chaitanya will play the the character of Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue, essayed by Mykelti Williamson in the original.

Earlier, Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi had opted out of Laal Singh Chadha reportedly because he was he was not able to shed weight to essay the character.

Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor in the lead.
