Actress Priyanka Chopra's new Indian restaurant Sona in New York City is open. Calling it a ‘labour of love’, Priyanka shared few inside pics on social media. “What started as a simple craving for great Indian food has become this labour of love, and I can’t wait to welcome you all in, and for you to experience timeless India in the heart of NYC!",” she said.
Priyanka also shared glimpses into the desi cuisine that the restaurant offers. The restaurant’s official Instagram handle also shared inside pics of the decor and the food. Recently, Priyanka had shared pics from the inaugural ceremony of the restaurant and a prayer meeting.
On Friday, Priyanka had expressed sadness at not being present at the restaurant's grand opening. The actor is filming in London, and has been stationed in the UK for several weeks. “I’m devastated I’m not there to celebrate, but I’m definitely there in heart and spirit...and on FaceTime," she'd written in a social media post.
