Fans of Kollywood actor Ajith have been quite eager to get the latest updates on his upcoming project Valimai. Apart from making #ValimaiUpdate trend on social media, there have been instances of the actor's fans seeking updates on the movie from politicians and celebrities as well.
Now, after producer of the movie Boney Kapoor tweeted about the movie saying, "Wanakam. Humbled by your love towards our film “Valimai”. Bear with us as we work on presenting the First look soon. It’s in the best interests of the film," the actor, in an official statement issued through his PRO Suresh Chandra on Twitter, asked his fans to maintain discipline and dignity on online forums.
The actor said the updates on the film will be given in due time and added that only after discussions with the producers, the date and time of these updates will be released. Asking his fans to be patient, he pointed out to them that while cinema is entertainment to them, it is his profession.
The actor said the decisions he takes about cinema will have impact on his career and on the society. "Our actions reflect the respect we have in society. I request you all to maintain dignity and discipline in public and on online forums. I am sure that the ones who truely love me will keep this in mind," the statement read.
