Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker, who a few days ago, took on a troll who challenged her to debate on the Centre's new farm bills, saying "Why don’t u go engage in a conversation with the protesting farmers," joined the agitating farmers on Delhi borders.

Taking to Twitter, the actor posted a few pictures, in which she is seen sitting with the farmers. Bhasker, in her tweet, said it was a humbling day and expressed admiration over the “ grit, resolve and determination” of the farmers.

“A humbling day, to see the grit, resolve and determination of protesting farmers and the elderly at #SinghuBorder #FarmersProtests,” she tweeted, sharing the photos.

She shared more pictures of the protesters, with the caption, "Snapshots of resilience."

Several Bollywood celebrities, including Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, have already extended their support to farmers protesting against the new farm laws.

Kapoor called farmers "founders of human civilisation". "When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of civilsation," she wrote on Twitter.

"Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crises is resolved sooner than later," Chopra had said in a tweet.
