Actress Neena Gupta has captured the internet’s attention with a new song in her daughter and fashion designer Masaba Gupta’s upcoming Netflix series Masaba and Masaba.

The song, titled ‘Aunty kisko bola’, starts with Mithila Palkar taking a jibe at Neena Gupta and telling her ‘Just get out of the way, aunty’. Sharing the video of Aunty Kisko Bola, Masaba Gupta wrote: "Who says item songs have an age limit? Khud hi dekh lo." Meanwhile, Neena Gupta wrote this in the caption: "Aunty bulao, magar pyaar se. Nahin toh..."

Neena Gupta is at her vibrant best in the video, and sports a mix of different costumes- from saris, to dresses to skirts and even blazers.

Masaba Masaba is a semi-fictionalised show is inspired by the lives of Masaba and her actress-mother Neena. It will release on Netflix on August 28.

Gupta said when she sat down to chat with the writers and director Sonam Nair, a line was drawn on what to spill and what to avoid. “We told them about our lives, funny, serious all kinds of anecdotes. I remember when the script came, at one point I felt this is not showing a particular character in a good light. That it was a bit too much and not to my taste. I conveyed that to Sonam. It is a fun show, yes, but it should not cross the decency level which we were very careful about.”
