Aamir Khan, who is currently in Turkey to finish the shoot of Laal Singh Chaddha, recently met Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan, and netizens are not impressed.
"I had the great pleasure of meeting @aamir_khan, the world-renowned Indian actor, filmmaker, and director, in Istanbul. I was happy to learn that Aamir decided to wrap up the shooting of his latest movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in different parts of Turkey. I look forward to it!" Emine wrote on Twitter after holding a meeting with Aamir. She even shared many pictures of the two from their official meet.

Netizens are criticising the actor meeting Emine, pointing out strained relations between India and Turkey. India’s External Affairs Ministry responded to Erdogan’s comments by asking to not interfere in India’s internal affairs.
Many trolled Aamir for being ‘anti-national’ or not a patriot, and brought his earlier controversial statement of ‘not feeling safe in India’.
