Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas welcomed their first child, according to reports.  "Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby," the couple’s representative told media.

They have decided to name their daughter Willa.

Turner, the England-born actor who played Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones for eight seasons, and Jonas, the Arizona-born musician who became popular in a band with his brothers on the Disney Channel, began dating in 2016.

The couple tied the knot in May 2019 in a secret ceremony, immediately after the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. The couple later hosted an official wedding ceremony in France, which was attended by the couple's close friends and family members.

According to reports, the couple had also purchased a baby-friendly home in Los Angeles. "They were hoping to expand their family," a source told People. Brand-new and modern, the couple's new home "is a great family house" with plenty of room to raise children.

Turner and Jonas kept their distance from the public in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The stepped out briefly to show their support for the Black Lives Matter movement in early June.
