V.Unbeatable, the Indian dance troupe who floored the viewers of the US reality show 'America’s Got Talent: The Champions' by grooving to the peppy number from 2019 Rajinikanth movie Petta 'Marana Mass' and went viral, has been declared winners of the show on Monday.

The finale of the show had 10 performances, but it came down to two finalists after the final performances—V. Unbeatable and Duo Transcend. Moments of anticipation prevailed, and in the end host of the show Terry Crews announced the Indian team as the winners. The V.Unbeatable crew, some of them children, leaped with joy, ran around and hugged each other even as the judges of the show—Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Howie Mandel—gave them a standing ovation.

The death defying dance moves and stunts of the team, which had participated in a few Indian dance reality shows as well, had won audience worldwide, and grooving to the tunes of 'Marana Mass' further increased the troup's popularity. The team had chosen ‘Tattad Tattad’ from the movie Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram Leela for the final performance.

Ahead of the final performance, many celebrities, including Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar had wished the team. The 'V' in the team's name stands for Vikas Gupta, a former member of the team who had passed away in 2013 after an accident while performing a dance stunt. Last year, they had participated in 'America's Got Talent Season 14' and had come fourth.
