The cast of the upcoming Vijay film is getting more diverse and interesting day by day.
A day after after roping in 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi to play a major character in the film, the makers have taken to Twitter to announce the latest addition to the cast—Mollywood actor Antony Varghese, popular for his character 'Pepe' of Angamaly Diaries.
Taking to Twitter, the director, Lokesh Kanagaraj, said: “Happy to welcome @VarghesePepe bro onboard”.
The movie, tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 64' is expected to be released next year. According to media reports, the movie is a gangster thriller and Vijay Sethupathi is likely to play the antagonist.

The female lead of the film is Malavika Mohanan. The music will be by Anirudh Ravichander.
The shooting is likely to begin later this month.
Vijay is currently awaiting the release of Bigil in which he plays a football coach. The movie, directed by Atlee, is expected to be a Deepavali release.
