Her latest release Love Action Drama, also starring Nivin Pauly, had got a good opening on day one and looks like it will offer a stiff competition to the Mohanlal-starrer Ittymaani: Made in China and Brother's Day, with Prithviraj in the lead.
While Nayanthara is gearing up for Bigil and Darbar and will be seen in the big budget movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, reports about her salary is doing the rounds.
Reportedly, Nayanthara is charging a whopping Rs 4 or Rs 5 crore for each film. This is by far the highest remuneration for an actress in Tamil film industry.
With Rs 5 crore for a project, her salary is what second-tier heroes charge.
However, the charge is less when it comes to Malayalam movies.
While Bigil is scheduled to hit screens on Diwali, A.R. Murugadoss' Darbar is slated for Pongal 2021 release.
Post Darbar, the actor has not signed any movies till now.
Rumours are rife that Nayanthara is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend and director Vignesh Shivan soon.
