In the star-driven Kollywood industry, Gautham Vasudev Menon managed to carve out a special place for himself as a director, becoming one of the most popular filmmakers whose films are eagerly awaited by cine lovers.
For quite some time, Tollywood film goers have been waiting for the release of his latest movie, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, starring Dhanush and Megha Akash in the lead. The making of the movie had begun in 2016 and the shooting was completed in January.
Since then, everyone wanted to know the release date of the movie. The wait seems to be finally over as the director during a recent TEDx session held in Chennai announced that the movie will be released on September 6.

Produced by the director's Ondraga Entertainment and Escape Artists Motion Pictures, Enai Noki Paayum Thota marks the first collaboration between Dhanush and Gautham Menon and is said to be a thriller, according to media reports. The movie also stars Sasikumar and Sunainaa and Rana Daggubati is expected to make a cameo appearance.
Gautham Menon's last Kollywood venture was Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, a romantic action thriller Silambarasan and Manjima Mohan in the lead. The movie was released in 2016. The excitement surrounding Enai Noki Paayum Thota is quite justifiable as the director has been on the project for the past three years.
