Shahid Kapoor's latest movie Kabir Singh may have attracted much criticism for romanticising toxic masculinity and the choice of its director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, to defend the same. However, the film went on to become a box office hit, making over Rs 200.
Now, post the success of the movie, reports emerge that the actor is planning to hike the amount of money he charges for a movie. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the actor would be charging Rs 35 crore per movie. If the reports of his fee hike is true, he would become one of the highest paid actors in Bollywood.
The actor was reported to be charging Rs 30 crore per movie.
