Vicky Kaushal has been on a roll. While the Anurag Kashyap directorial Manmarziyaan managed to win much praise from critics and a decent run at the box office, his latest movie Uri: The Surgical Strike is continuing to dominate the box office despite facing tough competition from Gully Boy.
The actor recently took to Instagram to thank the audience for making the movie a huge success. Vicky Kaushal said he is glad to know that the movie has successfully completed two months in theatres.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri: The Surgical Strike, a cinematic retelling of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack , has Vicky Kaushal playing Major Vihaan Singh Shergill, a special forces officer who leads the strike team. A one-liner from the movie, "How's the josh", had become a punchline of sorts for politicians with many of them, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi', quoting it on various occasions.
Uri: The Surgical Strike reportedly is the highest grossing Bollywood film this year. The movie also stars Paresh Rawal and Yami Gautam in the lead.
