Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar on Tuesday, announced his decision to quit Facebook. He took to Twitter to inform everyone that he has permanently deleted his personal Facebook page.
Though he didn't reveal the reason for the action, it can be assumed this follows similar move by celebs across the world in protest against Facebook privacy and data breach row. The #DeleteFacebook movement had picked up steam over the last few days.
Last week, Tesla founder Elon Musk deleted the official Facebook pages of Tesla and SpaceX.
