Maharashtra Chief Minsiter Devendra Fadnavis seems to be trying out innovative ways to take social messages to the public. In a recent video titled 'Mumbai River Anthem', Fadnavis is seen with wife Amrutha Fadnavis, lip-syncing and swaying to a song that calls to protect Mumbai's rivers.

The song, sung by Amrutha and singer Sonu Nigam, is set in multiple locations across Mumbai and tries to capture the spirit of the city through its people. Parts of the video have also been shot at the chief minister’s official bungalow, Varsha.

State finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Mumbai civic commissioner Ajoy Mehta and Mumbai police commissioner Datta Padsalgikar also make cameo appearances.

Dressed in vibrant salwars, Amrutha can be seen dancing. But Fadnavis stays put, restricting himself to lip-syncing with Sonu's voice.
