India's indigenous defence platforms, including the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachand and Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Rudra, will be among the key attractions at the India Pavilion during the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, to be held from July 20 to 24 at Farnborough Airfield, Hampshire, United Kingdom.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the nodal agency for the India Pavilion, will represent India's growing aerospace and defence ecosystem alongside other Indian defence organisations and industry partners. The HAL delegation will be led by its Chairman and Managing Director Ravi K.

At the airshow, HAL will showcase scaled models of several indigenous platforms, including the LCA Tejas, Prachand Light Combat Helicopter, ALH Rudra, Dhruv NG helicopter and the Light Utility Helicopter (LUH).

The company will also, for the first time, display interactive kiosks and digital screens featuring 360-degree floating visualisations of HAL platforms, assemblies and sub-assemblies.

HAL said it will host high-level business meetings, strategic engagements and customer interactions during the five-day event.

"HAL has successfully represented India's aerospace capabilities at the Farnborough International Airshow over the years, enabling sustained engagement with global OEMs, suppliers, customers, and government stakeholders, enhancing the company's international visibility and supporting strategic business initiatives. At this edition, we are showcasing Indian expertise and our willingness to collaborate on co-development," Ravi said.

He added, "We aim to play a key role in addressing critical supply chain challenges while advancing India's defence export ambitions and strengthening the country's position as a trusted global defence manufacturing hub."

During the event, HAL is also looking to deepen cooperation with global companies, including GE Aerospace, Eaton Aerospace, Honeywell, Safran, Martin-Baker (UK) and MBDA, for strategic engagement and potential collaboration in aircraft systems, aero engines, avionics, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and high-technology manufacturing.
