“Vishali Kola says that every child is precious and safe childhood is every child's birthright .”

Child sexual abuse is a jarring reality of our society, it is something that does not only require strong condemnation but our children need to be acquainted with its prevalence and mitigation.

There has been several child sex abuse cases in the recent past that have left the world aghast with its existence. But even when most parents want to protect their children from such evils, they don't understand how to lead them in this direction.

Tejo Barath is an Indian NGO that has taken to task this mission to educate the young children about sexual abuse in the most subtle ways so that they can understand the nuances of good and bad touches in ways that don't harm their innocence.

Having imparted this vital education to over 25000 kids in the year 2018 alone, they have recently launched an engaging and educating play store application called Body Safety Game which parents can introduce to their children to let them understand about physical abuse and what parts of their body are not entitled to be touched by anyone.

The game aims at being an interactive and educative platform that guides children about sex abuse in an age sensitive and gender neutral manner. It is curated under their initiative of VISION 2030 United Nation Sustainable Development Goals "SAFE INDIA HAPPY INDIA" which has been flagged under the tagline "safe childhood is our birthright".

Furthering their stance on safety of children from child abuse, the NGO led by Vishali Kola in Andhra Pradesh has spread its branches to cultivate the basic know how of child rights and mechanisms to fight child abuse from its very roots.

The dedicated team at Tejo Barath launched the application for students post the advent of the pandemic due to which they were not able to conduct their nationwide workshops but they wanted to make sure that each kid has access to some form of education that let's them be more conscious to any sexual abuse happening to them or around them.

The highly interactive game was put up with the help of Sri Sadguru Innovations which is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in the year 2015.

Working relentlessly since their inception, the founder and its dedicated volunteers have left no stone unturned in educating children in huge numbers about sexual abuse and how to deal with it if it happens.

The team has been applauded for their initiatives by several leaders such as the honourable Prime Minister of our country Shri Narendra Modi, Honourable Vice President of India and Chief Ministers of several states in India.

Certainly, their vision and thoughtful steps at empowering the young generation with robust measures and unique initiatives needs to be resounded across the globe and should be adapted to strive towards giving our children their right to lead a life of dignity.
