Humanitarian Sudha Reddy Exemplifies Sophistication At White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Sudha Reddy, the director of MEIL Group and the founder of the Sudha Reddy Foundation is known all over the globe for her philanthropic endeavours. She is a panellist at the family of Global Gifters of the Global Gift Foundation. And is also the recipient of the Fashion 4 Development Philanthropy Award which was awarded to her at the 2nd Annual Sustainable Goals Banquet during the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. She was the first Indian woman to have been invited to the F4D First Ladies Luncheon where she was felicitated with the Fashion 4 Development Philanthropy Award.

She has garnered global attention for her extensive charity work and has touched many lives for the better through her efforts.

On Saturday, 29 April 2023, she was at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and had important conversations about world affairs with various public figures and statesmen. Influential personalities like John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Sophia Bush, Winnie Harlow, Julia Fox, Brittney Griner and Cherelle Griner, Lala Kent, Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, J. Cameron Smith, Liev Schreiber, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Ego Nwodim, Bel Powley, Sofia Pernas, Rebecca Romijn, Rosario Dawson, John Leguizamo, and Ke Huy Quan were present at the event and Reddy was seen deep in conversation with many of them.

Apart from the White House Correspondents' Dinner, a major highlight from the weekend was Reddy’s attendance at the State Of Qatar WHC Soiree and the CBS After Party. She met the ambassadors of Qatar, Iran and France in DC and discussed various social issues with them.

The power of Washington DC is not unknown and the attendance of India’s businesswomen like Sudha Reddy at such important events is a point of national pride. Reddy represents the ambitious and empathetic nature of our country and continues to be a role model for young women across the globe.
