Rahul spreading lies misleading people to create political unrest BJP's Sudhanshu Trivedi

Bhubaneswar, Nov 2 (PTI) BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi on Monday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of spreading lies and misleading people to create political unrest across the country.

Addressing a press conference here, the BJP MP alleged that Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, and his associates were part of an "international conspiracy by forces that could not digest India's growth amid turmoil and uncertainty across the globe".

"Some forces that exist both within and outside the country don't want to see India develop. Unfortunately, the Opposition appears to have become merely a toy in their hands," Trivedi said.

The Congress and Rahul Gandhi have become the greatest challenge to Indian democracy by trying to create unrest in the nation, he alleged.

"Rahul ji, you are merely fostering chaos," he added.

The BJP leader also accused Rahul Gandhi of uttering lies by claiming that certain officials were in contact with him and police who detained him outside the PM's residence also supported his cause.

Trivedi claimed the SIR process was conducted in a very transparent manner.
