Bhubaneswar, May 17 (PTI) BJP president Nitin Nabin is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar on Sunday night on a maiden two-day visit to Odisha, a party leader said.
Nabin was earlier slated to arrive on Monday, he said.
The BJP chief will participate in the state core committee meeting at the party's Odisha headquarters on Monday, and also interact with the council of ministers, party spokesperson Sudipta Ray said.
Nabin will also inaugurate the Pandit Deendayal Training Maha Abhiyan-2026 camp at the AIPH University campus near IIT-Jatani.
"He will reach Bhubaneswar airport around 10.30 pm on Sunday aboard a regular passenger flight. In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for austerity, modest arrangements have been made to welcome him," Ray said.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, BJP state unit president Manmohan Samal, and other senior leaders are expected to receive him at the airport.
The BJP chief is also scheduled to visit Puri and offer prayers at the Jagannath temple.
Nabin will leave for Delhi on Monday evening.
