CM Naidu to chair seventh District Collectors’ Conference in Amaravati on May 7 8

Amaravati, May 6 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will chair the seventh District Collectors’ Conference aimed at improving administrative efficiency and ensuring better last-mile delivery of public services.
    The conference follows a series of district-wise review meetings recently conducted by the CM with public representatives.
    “Naidu will chair the seventh District Collectors’ Conference at the State Secretariat on May 7 and 8, which will focus on enhancing administrative efficiency and strengthening last-mile delivery of public services,” said a press release on Wednesday.
    The objective of the conference is to enhance administrative efficiency, review the implementation of development and welfare programmes, and provide clear direction to district administrations, the release said.
    On the first day, Naidu will review Swarnandhra (Golden Andhra), Ten Principles, district-wise GSDP growth, implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, grievance redressal mechanisms, grounding of investment projects, file clearances, administrative efficiency, and progress of RTGS initiatives.
    Additionally, select district collectors will present best practices implemented in their districts, and successful models will be considered for replication across the state.
    The CM will also review the progress of best practices presented during the fifth and sixth District Collectors’ Conferences.
    On the second day, Naidu will review the Sanjeevani programme, summer action plan, Super Six initiatives, welfare schemes, revenue and income-generating departments, education and skill development, and law and order.
    District Superintendents of Police (SPs) will participate in the post-lunch session on the second day.
    The conference aims to strengthen coordination across departments, replicate innovative governance practices, and accelerate the execution of development and investment projects, the release added.
