New Delhi, Apr 26 (PTI) Delhi Police organised flash mobs and a cycle rally across the city on Sunday as part of its anti-drug awareness campaign, 'Nasha -- Not Cool', an official statement said.
Sunday was the third day of the week-long campaign.
Flash mobs were organised at prominent public locations, including Central Park in Connaught Place, Kartavya Path and Select Citywalk Mall in Saket.
Through engaging performances, participants highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraged people to adopt healthier life choices, the statement said.
An early morning cycle rally was organised in the New Delhi district. Around 400 people, including police personnel and youths, took part in the event, it said.
The rally began at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium and crossed India Gate and surrounding areas before concluding at the stadium, it added.
The campaign has received support from celebrities like actor Anil Kapoor, former cricketer Virender Sehwag and former captain of the Indian women's hockey team Rani Rampal.
Police said awareness efforts will continue through street plays, radio jingles and social media outreach.
