New Delhi, Nov 5 (PTI) Paras Healthcare on Thursday posted a profit after tax of Rs 40.35 crore in the September quarter, driven by a rise in revenue.
The recently-listed hospital chain had reported a net profit of Rs 12.38 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing.
The company concluded its IPO on October 23 and its shares made the trading debut on the BSE and NSE on October 28.
Revenue from operations during the second quarter of FY27 stood at Rs 510.89 crore, while its expenses came in at Rs 463.12 crore during the quarter under review, the company informed the exchanges.
Figures for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, are balancing figures between special purpose consolidated audited interim financial statements for three months ended June 30, 2025, and have not been subject to limited review or audit, the filing noted.
Dharminder Kumar Nagar, Managing Director of Paras Healthcare Ltd, said, “This quarter marks an important milestone for Paras Health as we report our first results as a listed company. Out of the IPO proceeds of Rs 500 crore, we deployed Rs 375 crore towards part repayment of our borrowings, making our balance sheet significantly stronger.
“We will continue to deepen our speciality programmes including oncology, cardiac, neuro and renal sciences, invest in advanced clinical technology and expand our presence in the underserved markets of North India," Nagar added.
Shares of Paras Healthcare settled 2.99 per cent higher at Rs 774.35 apiece on the BSE.
