Diamond Power Infra stock surges 10 pc mcap crosses Rs 10 000 crore

New Delhi, May 14 (PTI) Shares of Diamond Power Infrastructure rallied 10 per cent on Thursday, taking the company's market valuation to more than Rs 10,000 crore.
    The stock surged 10 per cent to Rs 191.75 apiece, its upper circuit limit, on the BSE. On NSE, the stock hit the upper circuit at Rs 191.99. During the day, the scrip of the firm also hit a 52-week high on the stock exchanges.
    At the end of the trading session, the company's market capitalisation (mcap) stood at Rs 10,117.32 crore on the NSE and Rs 10,104.67 crore on the BSE.
     In volume terms, 1.95 crore shares of Diamond Power Infrastructure were traded on the NSE, and 4.77 lakh shares exchanged hands on the BSE, during the day.
     Meanwhile, benchmark equity indices finished in the positive territory. The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 789.74 points, or 1.06 per cent, to close at 75,398.72. The broader NSE Nifty climbed 277 points, or 1.18 per cent, to settle at 23,689.60.
     The Vadodara-based Diamond Power Infrastructure is one of the leading manufacturers of power transmission, distribution cables and conductors. As of March 30, 2026, the company's outstanding order book stood at over Rs 3,500 crore. It has been a major beneficiary of orders from the Adani Group and other key players in the power sector.
