Controversial figure Mirjana Pajković was removed from her position as a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Institution "Grabovac" Home for the Elderly by the Montenegro government. The decision comes after another private video of the former State Secretary in the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights found its way onto the internet. However, it was not clear if her dismissal was a consequence of the video leak.
Mirjana Pajković once served as the Director General of the Directorate for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms within Montenegro’s Ministry of Human and Minority Rights. An active social media user, she had to step down after her private moments with Dejan Vukšić—the former director of the National Security Agency (ANB) and a former adviser to President Jakov Milatović—were leaked online.
After the incident caused a political storm in Montenegro, she released a recording of Vukšić allegedly threatening her, before reportedly alleging that the President was aware of Vukšić’s threats against her but did not intervene.
In the fresh video, Pajković was seen dancing seductively in what is believed to be a government building. She is aware of being filmed as she gradually undresses in a room filled with alcohol bottles and wine glasses.
The new video comes shortly after she made her willingness to pursue a career in politics public. In late February, Mirjana Pajković had reportedly told the press that she was confident she possessed all the characteristics needed to shine in the modern political scene. She was close to finalising the name of her party, she added.
Pajković had earlier claimed that powerful men, including Vukšić, had threatened to release her private photos and videos if she did not do as they asked. The new development also fits this description, but her critics claimed that the leak could be planted to restore her publicity and, if possible, play the victim card.
