New Epstein files: Financier 'obsessed' with marrying ex-girlfriend’s teen daughter

Jeffrey Epstein-Celina Dubin's relationship is detailed in new documents, which allege the disgraced financier was obsessed with his ex-girlfriend's teenage daughter and wanted to marry her

Disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein was obsessed with his ex-girlfriend’s teenage daughter and wanted to make her his bride, according to the new documents released by the US Department of Justice.

According to the files, Epstein met Celina Dubin, a Harvard University-trained NYC doctor, when he began dating Eva Andersson Dubin, former Miss Sweden. Eva is now married to billionaire investor Glenn Dubin. Eva Andersson Dubin dated Epstein for 11 years before she married Glenn Dubin in 1994.

The files revealed that Epstein told friends in 2014 that Celina, who was just 19-years-old at the time, was the only person he wanted to marry, according to a Business Insider report.

Sources close to Epstein revealed the financier and convicted paedophile told his associates that if he ever married, it would be to Celina, despite her once calling him
“Uncle Jeff”. However, there is no evidence of the duo having had any romantic relationship. The Business Insider says his “intent was financial”, and he wanted Celina to inherit his fortune, including his private island in the Caribbean and that marrying her would be a way to avoid inheritance taxes.

However, a Dubin family spokesperson said they were not aware of any such remarks, which they called an “offhand comment”.

“There is no justification for dragging Celina into a public controversy she had nothing to do with,” the spokesperson said.

However, the files reveal that Eva invited Epstein to her Colorado home while Celina hosted her five friends. “Come and visit next week. Celina will have 5 friends over,” Eva wrote to Jeffrey on Aug. 14, 2010. This was two years after Epstein was convicted of soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution.

However, the family spokesperson said the friends included four boys and one girl.

Another email also showed Eva inviting Epstein to Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn in 2012 to watch Celina, then a senior, play lacrosse for Trinity High School.

“It was great fun, my first game,” Epstein wrote to Celina, according to the new docs.

Documents also reveal that Celina was close with Epstein; she exchanged hundreds of messages with him and referred to him as “Uncle F.” “Hey, unc! You’re in the city now, right? What are you up to today?” the then-15-year-old girl messaged Epstein in 2010, one year after his release from prison.
