A peaceful protest outside the Bangladesh high commission in London against the lynching of a Hindu man in the country was disrupted on Saturday by pro-Khalistan groups. The incident led to a scuffle outside the area.
Sources who spoke to CNN-News18 now say that the disruption had an external hand.
The protest was organised by the Bangladesh Hindu Association and had members of the Indian diaspora participating to highlight violence against minorities in Bangladesh. A handful of Khalistani supporters showed up and waved pro-Khalistan flags and shouted anti-India slogans.
The sudden arrival of the group at the exact location and time indicated that it was planned, not a coincidence, according to the sources.
Pakistan’s ISI has been exposed by Indian intelligence for influencing Khalistani groups in the UK on multiple occasions. They have also supplied them with weapons.
The groups have been known to collaborate to spread anti-indian narratives abroad and influence the diaspora

The sources who remained anonymous claim that while the khalistani groups had no role in Bangladesh’s communal violence, their action showed a pattern of disruption and narrative hijacking. This exposes the ISI’s goal to prevent the plight of Hindu victims in Bangladesh from garnering international attention, the sources said.
They also said that the ISI is running a dual strategy with Islamist groups amplifying anti-India sentiment inside Bangladesh and outside the country, and the group is using the Khalistani proxies to attack India-aligned voices.
