Two weeks after MAGA firebrand Charlie Kirk was shot dead at the Utah Valley University, several theories are doing rounds on what led Tyler Robinson to commit such a heinous crime. One of the theories floated by a forensic psychiatrist suggest Tyler might have taken the extreme step to protect his trans partner Lance Twiggs.
Forensic psychiatrist Dr Carole Lieberman said Tyler Robinson probably believed that he was defending the honour of Lance Twiggs by killing Charlie Kirk.
"Tyler's partner was a man, transitioning to be a woman," Dr Lieberman told Daily Mail. "Tyler believed Charlie was very anti-trans. In fact, he allegedly shot Charlie right as he was answering a question about trans people being frequent mass shooters."
Pointing to cases where men attacked or killed others to "avenge" the honour of their wife, girlfriend or a family member, she said Robinson might had a similar need to defend his partner.
In his texts to Lance Twiggs that were published by law enforcement, Tyler wrote, "You are all I worry about love."
"I had enough of his [Kirk's] hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated out," he said in a different conversation.
Recently, Tyler's porn search history brought to light that he was allegedly interest in furries, or human-like animal characters. However, Lieberman said she is not sure about his sexuality but believes it might well be "some variation of LGBTQ+".
