UPDATE: The shooter was identified as Tyler Robinson, 22, from Utah. He was turned in by his father.
A day after Charlie Kirk was fatally shot, a student from Utah Valley University recalled seeing a man walking on the roof of the building from the shooter opened fire.
The unidentified male student claimed a man was seen on or near the roof of Lossee Center twice in the past two weeks as he looked down at the courtyard where Charlie Kirk's event was held, according to CNN. The person was last seen on the roof on September 3, he added.
Describing the man spotted on the rooftop as a "tall, skinny-ish white dude", the student said he was clad in dark attire and had a backpack.

The latest clip from the Utah Valley University campus released by the FBI shows the sniper running across the roof and jumping off the building after shooting Kirk. He has reportedly left behind palm and footwear imprints. The footage was shared by the bureau and the Utah Department of Public Safety during a press conference Thursday night.
FBI announced that they are relying on the public’s assistance in identifying the shooter and declared $100,000 reward as motivation for providing tips. The bureau has received over 7,000 tips regarding the assassination.
