'Shehbaz Sharif was swimming when Pakistan was bombed': Pak influencer debunks claims that India sought truce

In a rare acknowledgement, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif admitted that Indian missile struck its airbases. However, the PM is being slammed for entirely different reasons, drawing flak from Pakistani influencers.

He said the Pakistani army chief Syed Asim Munir called him on a secure line at 2.30 am on May 10 to inform him about Indian ballistic missiles striking Nur Khan Airbase.

He then said he prayed and then went for a swim, drawing criticism from Pakistani citizens. One of the Pakistani content creators slammed Sharif, saying, "Pakistan was being bombed and our PM was taking a swim."

The Pakistani premier said Asim Munir called him again, saying "we have given India a powerful response but now they are seeking a ceasefire". Shehbaz said that he told Munir that "it is a matter of pride that you responded with force against the enemy and now they are forced to do a ceasefire."

However, reacting to Shehbaz's claims, the Pakistani influencer questioned him. "So without asking anyone, either the Parliament or anyone, he instantly said yes to the ceasefire." He then went on to add, "How can this even be true. Use your basic common sense."

Shehbaz then bragged about using home-grown technology and Chinese gadgets to counter Indian strikes. However, he did not mention that India thwarted the drones and missiles sent by Pakistan.
