A California man has set a world record by going to Disneyworld 2,995 times consequently, making it the most number of times anyone has visited the theme park. "It started as a joke between friends when Disneyland announced they were giving an ‘Extra Disney Day’ when they announced the Leap Day 24-hour event in 2012," Reitz told the Guinness World Records. "We decided to use Disneyland as a positive as we were out of work and had annual passes that had been gifted, so it was a source of free entertainment."

The Huntington Beach resident, who is a Disney pass holder, has been visiting the theme park consecutively since 2012. After each visit, Rietz would visit his Instagram account @Disney366_ and share his Disney experience with over 27,000 followers.

"I would usually take a walk around the park. I enjoy photography, so I was always watching for images to capture that I could post to share," he told Fox News. The Matterhorn Bobsleds has been his favourite attraction. Over the years, several media outlets have interviewed him about his love for Disneyland. Over the years, Rietz has visited the theme park alone and with others.
