Gianni Versace's former Manhattan home has been listed for $70 million. The townhouse spanning six floors is near Central Park and overlooks Fifth Avenue. The mansion built in 1950 is spread across six floors.

The Sotheby's real-estate listing offers the buyer a chance to “live like royalty” and "own a piece of real estate and fashion history.” Versace bought the seven-bedroom mansion in 1995. The home has 17 lavishly decorated rooms in total. The home boasts five carved stone fireplaces, eleven bathrooms, and an expansive roof terrace. The rooms have been tiled with Italian marble and mosaic.

Each floor of the mansion has a different theme and reflects the designer's legendary taste. The overall style of the home is inspired from the style of an English neoclassical manor. One of the floors has a bathroom spa that the listing describes as "one of the grandest in the city,” and on the sixth floor is a Morrocan-style media room.
