Manchester United may finally end up signing Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly this summer as the Premier League champions have reportedly reduced their asking price for the youngster.

Initially, Arsenal valued their academy graduate at £60 million. As per the latest reports, the Gunners have brought the asking price down to £45 million, which should be within United's budget. However, it remains unknown whether the Red Devils will make a formal bid for the youngster.

The Manchester United board has always been impressed by Lewis-Skelly's credentials, and they have earmarked him as a key target, given the fact that Arsenal are on a spending spree and will need to sanction a few departures.

Following Christian Nørgaard's move to Everton, Reiss Nelson, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, and Viktor Gyökeres are said to be among the players on the Gunners' sell list. Being a versatile footballer, the 19-year-old English talent can operate as a central defensive midfielder or centre-back when not playing in his preferred left-back role.
