Jose Mourinho's defensive signings have changed the metrics at Real Madrid, and the gaffer has reportedly told the Spaniard that it is going to be a tough season for him. With Ibrahima Konaté, Denzel Dumfries, and Marc Cucurella arriving, it is going to be hard for Asencio to get considerable minutes, Mourinho is said to have communicated.

Hailed as the next Sergio Ramos last season by fans, the right-footed Asencio is contracted to Real until 2031.
