Private air charter company Halo Airways is set to provide exclusive charter flights linking the host cities of the FIFA World Cup 2026, spread across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Shoby T. Paul, founder and CEO of Halo Airways, announced in New York that the company has initially dedicated four aircraft to support the World Cup operations, and said that more aircraft will be added on demand and based on operational requirements.

"For several years, we have been providing services from India to domestic locations and significant international markets in Europe, the Far East, and the Middle East," Paul said. "As excitement for the FIFA World Cup 2026 builds, we are seeing a strong need for dependable charter services throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This expansion is a huge step for India's private aviation industry. By expertly handling complex transcontinental routes, Halo Airways is proving that Indian operators can meet the highest international safety, regulatory, and operational standards within North American airspace."

Halo Airways has partnered with local firms in the United States and Canada such as Miami-based Royalty Aviation Group, managed by Capt. Vibin Vincent and operating from North Perry Airport (KHWO) in Pembroke Pines, Greater Miami, Florida. These local partners will offer logistical support, help with regulatory matters, and provide ground handling services.

Halo Airways is using a flexible fleet designed for both shorter regional flights and luxurious long-haul journeys. The fleet includes the seven-seat Cessna Citation CJ2 and the eight-passenger Embraer Phenom 300 for entry-level options, both piloted by two crew members. For mid-range travel, the Cessna Citation X is available, accommodating nine passengers with a cabin attendant and two pilots. For long-range luxury travel, the Gulfstream G550 takes up to 13 passengers, complete with dedicated cabin crew and two pilots.

Its World Cup network will directly link major tournament locations across North America. In the United States, flights will operate to and from New York (JFK), Miami, Los Angeles, Seattle–Tacoma, Boston Logan, Dallas–Fort Worth, and Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson. In Canada, operations will cover Toronto and Vancouver, while in Mexico, the airline will connect through Mexico City International Airport.

Founded in 2012, with its registered office in Kochi and its operational hub in Bengaluru, the company has built a reputation for managing high-profile travel assignments within India.
