With the capped players list done, it was time for the uncapped players to go under the hammer. Batters first, followed by all-rounders, wicket-keepers, fast bowlers and spinners.
Known for their deep scouting, Mumbai Indians once again bagged prodigious all-rounder Sanskriti Gupta who hails from Madhya Pradesh. Gupta is a hard-hitting southpaw who also bowls handy off-spin.
Gupta was signed for Rs 20 lakh while RCB used another of their RTMs to retain young batter Prema Rawat for Rs 10 lakh. These rounds featuring the uncapped players saw a whopping majority getting unsold. There will, however, will be another chance for them in the accelerated auction that will happen at the end.
There were a few interesting names in there that could have attracted bids but that didn't quite happen. MI, DC and RCB added a player apiece during these five sets of uncapped players.
