Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a €60 million fee with RB Leipzig for Xavi Simons—a long-term target of their London rivals Chelsea, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had claimed on Friday. As the summer transfer window is set to shut on September 1, teams are working overtime to seal the deals that they are still stuck over. In the Premier League, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea are all involved in deadline madness, and Romano in recent hours has dropped some major bombshells and confirmations involving some big names.

Here are five of the latest English Premier League transfer updates by Fabrizio Romano that may impress fans:

1. Alejandro Garnacho has arrived in London after Chelsea and Manchester United signed all documents related to his transfer. The deal now stands completed between the clubs for £40 million plus a 10% sell-on clause. After his medical, which is set to take place soon, the Argentine winger will sign a seven-year deal with Chelsea.

2. Garnacho's teammate, Kobbie Mainoo, has no plans to leave Old Trafford on a permanent deal. However, he is fixated on confirming a loan deal for the season, but United keep blocking his exit, Fabrizio Romano said.

3. Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior's move to FC Porto is happening after the Gunners approved a loan with an obligation to buy. Arsenal will receive a €2 million loan fee from the Portuguese side and a "€17m obligation to buy plus add-ons and a sell-on clause up to a potential fee over €25/27m," Romano said on X. The Ukrainian Kiwior is expected to take off in the next 24 hours, as soon as the documents are approved.

4. With Kiwior leaving the Emirates Stadium, Piero Hincapié's arrival in the Premier League is almost certain to happen. The Bayer Leverkusen defender will join Arsenal on a loan deal as both sides have almost agreed on the terms. "Details on the fee structure are being sorted and then 'here we go' is coming next," Romano said.

5. After having been rumoured to seal the Xavi Simons deal, Tottenham Hotspur are also trying to get Manuel Akanji from Manchester City. The Swiss full-back is one of three players the Europa League winners have shortlisted. However, AC Milan are also in talks to sign Akanji and are willing to pay a £15 million fee. However, the Serie A side is yet to reach an agreement with the defender over personal terms.
