Amid speculations on Cristiano Ronaldo's imminent transfer to Manchester City, the star footballer has reportedly bid adieu to his Juventus teammates. The 36-year-old is also set to miss training on Friday as he nears an exit from the club.

According to skysports.com, Ronaldo "spent an hour and a half at Juve's Continassa training ground on Friday morning to empty his locker and bid farewell to the squad before they took to the pitch for a training session." "Cristiano Ronaldo has left Juventus training center after 40 minutes to say goodbye to his teammates. He only wants to leave the club in the next few hours. NO training today. Ronaldo is waiting for Mendes to bring the official bid as it’s still verbal with Man City," Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist who specializes in football transfers, tweeted about two hours ago.

"Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri: “Cristiano Ronaldo told me yesterday that he wants to LEAVE Juventus immediatly (sic). It’s true and confirmed. This is why he wasn’t training today and he’s not available for tomorrow match vs Empoli," Romano quoted the Juventus manager in another tweet.

The Portugal great's departure has been rumored for months, with Paris Saint-Germain and a dream team of him and Lionel Messi or Manchester City the likeliest

The 36-year-old Ronaldo has only one year left on his contract, and with no apparent offer on the table, Juventus is eager to settle the matter one way or another. The transfer window closes on Tuesday and even his teammates say they have no idea whether Ronaldo will be with them past that date.
