As the inaugural World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand approaches, anticipation and excitement have gripped the cricket fans. Scheduled to start from June 18 in Southampton, the match will see a Virat Kohli-led Indian side going up against Kane Williamson’s Kiwi team.

Days ahead of the much-awaited clash, India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja turned up the excitement a notch by sharing a picture of Team India’s sweater for the WTC final, on social media.

Jadeja is making a comeback of sorts, having missed a few matches during the Australian tour last year, due to injuries. He missed the series against England as well. However, he recovered in time to play for Chennai Super Kings in the recently-suspended 14th edition of the Indian Premier League.

While New Zealand are already in England for a bilateral series against the hosts, the Virat Kohli-led Indian team will arrive in the UK on June 3 after completing a 14-day quarantine period in India.

The Indian team will enter UK after completing 14-days in a bio-bubble in Mumbai with six RT-PCR negative tests. The New Zealand team will move from the ECB bio-secure environment into the World Test Championship final bubble on June 15 and will be subject to regular testing prior to and post arrival in Southampton.
