India made it to the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup after their semifinal match against England in Sydney was washed out on Thursday. Having topped the group stage, India will play the final at Melbourne on Sunday.
The match was scheduled to begin at 9.30 am IST (3 pm local time), but the toss was delayed as conditions remained wet.
Chmapions Australia will take on and South Africa in the second semifinal to be played at Sydney on Thursday. The match is scheduled to begin by 1.30pm IST.
