There can be several reasons for a football team's poor run—be it injuries that affect the team combination, poor tactics, stronger opponents, luck factor, bad refereeing, and what not.

But the owner of a Romanian football club, FCSB, has found the exact reason for his team's failure to win their last three matches—his players are having too much sex!

Bucharest football club FCSB, formerly known as Steaua Bucharest, is Romania's most successful club with 26 league titles.

After the team drew 1-1 with a lowly Chindia Targoviste, FCSB owner Gigi Becali, 61, told the local media that his “players are making love with their girlfriends too often, that's why they aren't playing football so well lately”.

FCSB are currently fourth in the standings, eight points behind leaders CFR Cluj.

In fact, he praised CFR Cluj coach Dan Petrescu, who played for Chelsea and Southampton, for letting his players have sex only once a week.
