India continued their domination of Bangladesh in the Indore Test, taking a lead against the visitors' paltry score of 150 before lunch on the second day on Friday.
At lunch, India were 188 for 3 wickets, a lead of 38 runs. Mayank Agarwal was unbeaten on 91 and giving him company was Ajinkya Rahane on 35.
Continuing his stupendous run since his debut in Australia, Agarwal hit his fourth Test 50, showing more aggression than on the first day. Agarwal hit 13 fours and a six as he neared his third Test century. Rahane was more watchful, hitting five boundaries in his 35 off 72 balls. The pair have added 69 runs so far.
Earlier in the day, Cheteshwar Pujara reached his 50 quickly, but was soon dismissed by fast bowler Abu Jayed, who had him caught off substitute Saif Hassan for 54. Agarwal and Pujara added 91 runs. Indian captain Virat Kohli fell cheaply, with Jayed trapping him LBW for a duck. Jayed has picked all of the three Indian wickets that have fallen so far in the Indore Test.
