The Premier League witnessed one of the most unbelievable goals in its history in the match today between Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City. And the magician was none other than Tottenham's English striker Harry Kane.

The Spurs long wait for an away win, however, continued as Leicester came from behind to beat them 2-1 at the King Power, in a match headlined by two brilliant goals and a controversial off-side call by VAR.

It was Tottenham who took the lead in the 29th minute, thanks to some great improvisation by Kane. Son Heung-min's back-heel found the striker, who stumbled and hit the floor as he bore down on goal. However, Kane still managed to flick the ball high beyond Kasper Schmeichel from the ground, to the home team's disbelief.

It was his 14th goal in 13 games against Leicester City.

After the break, it seemed like the last year's Champions League finalists had doubled the lead when Serge Aurier fired home. But the goal was ruled out by the finest of margins for offside after a VAR review.

Leicester compounded Tottenham's pain by equalising two minutes later through Ricardo Pereira in the 69th minute.

Then came the second stunner of the match—James Maddison's fine long-range strike past an outstretched Hugo Lloris five minutes from time shutting the doors on the visitors.

With the win, Leicester moved above Manchester City into second position in the Premier League, for a few hours at least.

By contrast, the Spurs have now won just two of their first seven games of the season in all competitions and have still not won away from home in the Premier League since January.
