India face their biggest task in Qatar as they take on the Fifa World Cup 2022 hosts in their own backyard. India are reeling from a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat to Oman in their opening qualifier after having led in the first half. Group favorites Qatar however thrashed Afghanistan 6-0 in their opening match. India have never beaten Qatar in any official matches having lost thrice and drawn one. To add to India's woes, Sunil Chhetri may miss the match. He wasn't present during the practice sessions either. Stimac will look to the likes of Balwant Singh to step up in Chhetri's absence.
