The Mumbai Indians will face off against the Rajasthan Royals in the 27th match of the IPL at Mumbai on Saturday.
Mumbai Indians are currently ranked third in the points table, having won four of their six matches. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have lost five of their six matches and are ranked seventh, just above Royal Challengers Bangalore, who are yet to win a single match. The Rajasthan Royals are also hobbled by poor recent form, losing their last two matches, while Mumbai Indians have won their last three matches.
Rajasthan Royals have been hit by the indifferent form of key players such as captain Ajinkya Rahane and Steven Smith, while Sanju Samson has not been able to replicate the touch that got him a century against Sunrisers Hyderabad in late March.
