The Cyberleek leaks may have given GTA 6 fans the wildest sneak peeks at the game before its release, but that doesn't mean official trailers are no longer wanted.

In fact, if 27.85 million views and 1.4 million likes are anything to go by, then it is clear that any and every official sneak peeks from Rockstar are still in demand, as excitement for the latest title from the Grand Theft Auto series has gone beyond the fever-pitch level, with November 19 barely a month away.

Here are six important details from what may be the final GTA 6 trailer before the 'we-got-this-before-GTA-6' memes come to an end:

Jason’s military background

At the outset, the trailer hints at Jason's military backstory with an armed forces unit called the Marauders, and how it probably ended badly. It is here that his action scenes and that skull-and-parachute tattoo from earlier begin to make sense.

What's even cooler is the facility that trained him, North Fort Law, just so happens to be the first military base from the first game of the series—the coolest homage to the days Grand Theft Auto dominated DOS.

Officer Mendez

The Vice City Police Department’s (VCPD) officer Mendez, seems to be as shadowy as the shadows in the single shot he is seen in.

The fact that he shows up with a gun soon after Lucia asks, “are we gonna be okay?", hints he may be one of the major antagonists of the game, as we've seen before with Samuel Deever from GTA, Sergeant Jerry Martinez from GTA: Vice City Stories, or Officer Frank Tenpenny, the corrupt cop from GTA: San Andreas voiced by Samuel L. Jackson.

Jason and Lucia

The Jason-Lucia relationship—LuSon, JaCia, or whatever folks will call it in the future—was undeniably a strong emotional undercurrent in the trailer, which gives you two kinds of hot scenes: flames and explosions, but also steamy ones in the shower.

In any case, it is clear that the duo go way back, with the events of GTA 6 serving as the latest test of a bond that has seen various eras, as the two fight to keep not just each other alive, but also their love.

Brass knuckles and NVGs

The new trailer has hinted at two new tools we may get to use. The first is the brass knuckles, an ‘unarmed’-category staple weapon from the days of GTA: Vice City, all the way till GTA V.

The second—and more exciting—tool may be night vision goggles (NVGs), which hopefully won't be restricted to cutscenes, and can also be used in some military-style campaign missions.

Lucia’s backstory

The cool shot of Lucia in a bank vault with green gold all around her—hinted at in earlier reveals from outlets like IGN and leakers like Cyberleek—is not the only idea the trailer gives about her backstory.

Other crazy action shots, such as her jump from a car onto a plane’s landing gear and later brandishing a rifle, show that she may not have had the military training that Jason did, but she sure does make up for it.

Peak detailing

As seen in scenes like Lucia’s heist, an explosion behind Jason, and someone hanging onto cargo pulled by a helicopter into the side of a building, Rockstar seems more than ready to take things up a notch, graphics-wise.

This makes sense, given that all sneak peeks we've got of the game have pointed to the possible use of even better ray-traced effects as with GTA V: Enhanced Edition, seen in not just the way various scenes are lit, but also in reflections and the way light interacts with the shards of glass from the building we spoke of here.
